vip used to be my favorite salon, and today the woman said "oh sorry im not paying attention, ive had a long day" while in the middle of doing my nails (she almost did the same nail twice)... thats my first complant. secondly, each of my 10 nails are different lengths with different amounts of color (pink&whites), and not a single one of them is straight. each one also varies in thickness. i am so disappointed and to have an emoloyee tell me she isnt paying attention is unacceptable. will not be going back!!!
This place plain sucks, which is a shame because they're close by. I absolutely do not mind the extra 5 minute drive into Franklin to find a new place. Horrible customer service, horrible LAZY technicians and they all have different standards for the same jobs.
It's the worse place to go they don't have timing skills if you get there 10 min late the owner it's yelling on you!! They thing that the place it's a factory!! Nothing about VIP they are really rude!! I when there one time and I have to wait for the lady 2 hours!! I don't recommend this places to nobody!! WORSE WORSE!!!!!
I've gone here 2x for pedicure/gel manicure and the last time was only because everywhere else was booked and I waited too long to get them done.
Tao.......she is amazing! Always does perfect nails. No one anywhere does a job like ger.
Then I got a french gel manicure. Again, the woman was rushing. 3/10 fingers looked like a legit job while the remaining 7 looked like my 6 year old neice painted them. They were uneven and the gel was all over my cuticles/sealed over the top of my finger. BURNED LIKE HELL IN The UV LIGHT. Another lady walked in who had an appointment and the tech just left me there to start her nails. No hand massage, no lotion, no cuticle push back...NOTHING.
There were a ton of bubbles under the gel which caused them to peel off 2 days later. The first gel manicure I got there lasted 4 days. I'm used to at least 2 weeks with no chip/peel so something is seriously wrong with how this place does them!
Started with a pedicure first, which they charge a ridiculous amount for... so I figured, hey, this is gonna be relaxing. It was over in less than 10 minutes. There was no leg/foot massage, no heel oil, no scrub etc. It was a completely different process/time/products than the last time I got a pedicure there. The place was completely empty but the woman was rushing to get me out.
If I could give a negative star I would. First I walk in and ask if there is a wait at all. I was told no there will be no wait. So I sit down and wait 25 minutes! Then The girl doing my nails tried to upsell me....like they all do (which I don't mind, I get it) But when I said no thank you THREE times, she got annoyed. She tried once more to convince me, to no avail. That apparently irritated her, so she rushed the entire time. Since when does a full set take 29 minutes from beginning to end including French paint? When asking me how short I wanted it, I showed her where to cut. She told me no it's too long, and cut them more! Umm hello they are MY fingers. They are all uneven. My pointer is at least 1/4 inch longer than my middle finger, and my ring finger is the size of my natural nail. I asked her to make them slender, esp since its so short I don't want them wide. So she left them as wide as the amazon river, leaving acrylic wider than my nail bed. The one coat of white paint is spotty and see through and when she messed up the pointer she tried to fix it once and then just left it as is. She didn't speak at all through this process, she used hand signals to communicate. And i know she speaks English bc once she saw me take my change (that would normally be her tip) then a miraculous recovery took place and she was so sweet and talking up a storm. Never again will I EVER go there. I'm so angry by this entire experience
